Again a nice move google people, I have been using similar feature from other services where you do changes on your control panel but effects you can see live on the place where the code is placed.
Google people said that this feature is not yet available but shall be available soon. It means, if you need to modify colours of a ad unit then simply goto your adsense control panel and then Adsense Setup –> Manage Ads.

Google Just added most awaited feature to Gmail.
It is IMAP.
Google says :
Sync your inbox across devices instantly and automatically. Whether you read or write your email on your phone or on your desktop, changes you make to Gmail will be seen from anywhere you access your inbox.
Those who don’t know what Imap is ?
nternet Message Access Protocol (IMAP).
With an IMAP account, your incoming email remains on your ISP’s mail server until you delete it. You can read and manage your email from different locations. Your In, Out, Sent, and Trash mailboxes, plus any mailboxes you create, are visible to you no matter what computer you use to access your mail account, and you can work with your messages as if they were stored on your computer. For this reason, you may want to use an IMAP account if you usually read your email at more than one computer.
You can control whether messages are stored on your local hard disk. For example, you can choose to download messages only when you read them, or download attachments only when you open a message. This can allow for better performance if you use a telephone modem to connect to the Internet.
All you need to first enable IMAP, for that
Goto —> Gmail Account –> Settings –> Forwarding & Pop/IMAP –> IMAP Access –> Enable IMAP
Next is to configure your email clients.

This was really important ie. having some check on loads of email we recieve daily because of ORKUT. Though I had created another account for this so I was not worried at all.
But recently google ie. Orkut really took some nice step.
Here is the list google provided :
#1 Until now, you’ve gotten a message whenever someone you invited as a friend has accepted your request. Now the default for this notification is off. If you’d like to change it, go to settings, then the notification settings tab and check the box next to “new friend approvals.”
#2 You receive a message when you’re invited to join a community. If you’re getting a lot of these, we figured you might like to turn it off. To do so go to the notification settings tab and and uncheck the boxes next to “community invite notifications.”
#3 To prevent unwanted spam, you can no longer send messages to ALL your orkut friends at once. Now that we improved our feature to group friends, we thought that you can start using them to address only those who you know will want to receive your message.
#4 Messages to communities will only exist for moderated communities. Many of us join these because we want to associate the name and picture of the community and have it on our profile, but we don’t want to participate actively. This is common, and we call these “badge communities.” Strangely, sometimes people think it’s a good idea to email ALL members of these (often huge and unmoderated) badge communities, which translates into a whole lot of spammy email.
Google just announced that they have increased the speed of Gmail storage counter. They said that we have increased the speed of counter so that you will have 6 GB storage by January 4th Next Year.

Google just added Hindi Transliteration facility to Google search and to orkut also.
How this works ?
For Google Search
First you need to goto google India page in Hindi. You can do find it here. http://www.google.co.in/hi

Once I discussed about Accessing Orkut behind firewall using two type of proxy.
Today I am going to post various web based proxy which might be helpful in that. Just for those who do not remember, web based proxy actually allow you to surf a website through them, ie. they connect to original server, give you data by their proxy hence allowing to access restricted website like orkut behind firewall.
Just just introduced yet new feature in Google Desktop, now you can use Google Desktop Widget in “iGoogle”, iGoogle is your personalized home page by google, everyone can have their own after they log into google accounts.
So All you need is to have latest Google Desktop, you can download one with Google Pack also.. a package of useful software by Google.
After installation goto iGoogle Content Directory and add which ever widget you want.
Google Adsense just gave us the good news. And the news is that now you can use Western Union Money transfer service to receive your adsense earnings at your place. Though it is not available at all the places but still I know there are many people who has to use Express Delivery to get their cheques and spend $25 extra. There are many who use Bank Transfer too.
So now it can save cost and it is relatively cheaper yet fast.
If you don’t know what adsense is.. Adsense can be used to server ads on your website and you can earn money from it. Signup is simple :
Also to add here the Western Union Quick Cash is only available in Argentina, Chile, China (Mainland), Colombia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, and Romania.
They are also not issuing Western Union Quick Cast to Company but only to Individual, so in order to redeem you have to present Govt. issued Photo ID.
Also, payment must be picked up in 35 days or it will expire and hence credited back to your Adsense Account.
Here I must admit that I should have included this trick a long ago but never mind, when google talk gadget was released I was not actually having this place. Here what I am including is very famous trick to open G-talk when it is blocked or restricted on network.
First lets see how it works, most of the time when you are using google talk client then it uses combination of ports and http to access the google server but when you use google talk gadget then it do all of its work through http requests and hence most of the system administrator do not block it or can’t block it. Though it can be blocked.
So how we are going to make it happen, all we do is use web based client for google talk or G-Talk. Also, in order to make it more convenient we will make sure that it always opens in sidebar so easier to use and chat.

It is quite simple.
1. Open this in your browser ie. firefox :

2. Now bookmark this in your firefox bookmark folder.
3. Goto your bookmark and navigate to G-talk shortcut, right click on it and goto properties and enable “Load this bookmark in sidebar”

According to some bloggers Youtube is offering Monetization of your video using Google Adsense. What does this means ? Means if you are used to upload videos on Youtube then now can earn from those YouTube videos. I know many who are with decent internet connection often upload a lots of video every month. Even there are community of users who are heavily dependent on YouTube. It must prove a nice boom for them.
Moreover I think if you have your video uploaded to YouTube and it turned out be a famous one then people using it on their site will again help you and your ads will be displayed wherever the video is embeded.
