If you have to post links frequently on orkut and annoyed of image verification then you can simply use following technique..
Note: It will just bypass image verification but will not post live link

All you need is to replace / of http with its code ie. & # 4 7 ; and replace “.” with & # 4 6 ;.
So if you want to post : http://www.smsnshayari.com/big-google
Then it goes like:

http:& # 4 7 ;& # 4 7 ;www & #4 6 ;smsnshayari & # 4 6 ;com & # 4 7 ;big-google

PS: Here I have used spaces between them so remove the space while using on orkut.

So it will not ask you for image verification but keep in mind, the link will not be a clickable one, it will appear as normal text.

Don’t Share, Don’t Script, Don’t Spread

Google finally came up with 3 golden rules.. google says:

There are certain things that we all do every day to protect our privacy: lock our homes and cars when we exit, keep our bank codes secret, avoid offers of rides from strangers. These habits have become second nature to most of us. Similarly, there are certain behaviors we should all adopt to keep us safe online. Recently we’ve come up with three golden rules of orkut safety: Don’t Share, Don’t Script, Don’t spread (say it fast 3 times!). Some of it may seem obvious, so forgive me for sounding like your mother, but you’ll really be better off knowing this.

1. Don’t share: keep your username, password and personal information secret and change your password regularly.
This is the first thing people are advised to do, it really protects you from many things, do not trust people, may be they are trustworthy but they just left it open and your password became public.. then ?

Hiding your display name on orkut

In orkut, you can hide your display name, earlier it can be done by entering 0173 while alt key being pressed but it do not work anymore.

The trick we are going to share is as simple as copying a special character in place of your name in profile. To make it easy we have placed that special character in the text box below.

Running Multiple Instances of Google Talk-Gtalk

You can do that by two ways..

Method One

First one is simple..
Goto
Start > Run
Type : “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex

Today google announced that now they will reduce the lifetime of a cookie which is stored on your computer while you visit Google. Earlier it was set to expire in 2038 but now will expire in two years of from last accessed time.

The people , who however visits google regularly shall get their cookies renewed automatically. Google call it a step further to protect privacy of Google users after announcing the step to anonymize their server after 18 months.

What are cookies

Cookies are small piece of information residing in a file on your computer whenever you visit certain sites which need to keep track of your preferences so that next time you visit a site, you can see it as the way you set it last time. You can delete them manually anytime.

(Not for those who already know about it :P)
This service is available from while. It was introduced when many bloggers (Free blog hosting service user from google) demanded some thing specially for blog search from google.

Google just added search box widget to blogger service. Now you can just search your blog specifically or can search whole world as normal.
Google says:

You get a Search Box widget for Blogger, built using the AJAX Search API, and powered by a Linked Custom Search Engine (CSE).

Many institution, educational places, organization blocks Orkut and other social networking sites, sometimes using firewall, sometimes using using proxy servers. By firewall I mean, doing filtering using NAT etc.

Lately I read that German court ruled against google for using name Gmail in their country. It has actually stopped google for using name gmail in their country. Google guys try to buy their name but the owner refused, I know they should have offered a huge amount because Money is not the case with google, isn’t ?
